I AM Photographer is organizing photography contest I AM Photographer Wedding and Portrait Photograph 2017.

The period for submitting photos to the contest is 1st February to 19th February 2017. The competing entries need to be uploaded on the web page by 19th February 2017 the latest. Delayed entries shall not be accepted to the contest.

Peter Ellis

Started in photography at the age of 21 working for a couple of companies till 1980. When I decided to go it alone, a hard decision at the time but the right one.

I have  the honour to hold four Fellowships ( BIPP. MPA. SWPP. RPS.) 3 for wedding, 1 for portraiture, a Masters Degree with the Professional Photographers of America and Hon. ALPE with the Wedding, Portrait, Photographers International  along with a QEP the first to be awarded to a wedding photographer.

Photography to me is a way of life and not a job. I believe you  have to be that way, as photography gets in your blood under your skin it becomes your life.

Over the years, many awards for my style of photography have come my way. To name just a few Kodak Gold awards 8 time winner WPPI 1st 2nd & 3rd awards plus many merits. Agfa Wedding photographer of the year 3 years running. Many Gold .Sliver awards with the BIPP & MPA also winner of Wedding ,Portrait, Landscape and would you believe pets not my favourite subject in photography.

I have had the honour to speaks and teach fellow photographers both amateur and professional nationally & internationally, on all aspects of Wedding, Portrait. Commercial and Landscape Photography. I  have also been in demand as an National UK, & International Judge. Judging in the UK , North & Southern Ireland, Italy and USA. I have been a Judge and speaker at WPPI for the last 8 years and have Chaired the Judging Panel on several occasions. The BIPP asked me to be Chair of judges for their qualifications after serving on the panel for 8 years, I held the chair for  two years. I was President of the MPA in 2001 also serving on the MPA panel of judges for the pasted 12 years.
